On Wednesday 26th of August, we had our chief instructor Takahashi Shihan from Japan for training and Thursday 27th was our grading night for selected students. I was very pleased with our clubs attendance of 40 students participating in the training sessions from little pee wee students to all coloured belts to black.

For some students it was there first training session with Shihan, I hope they found this a rewarding experience.

On Thursday 18 students graded and also a surprise added training session for all these students that participated. Shihan was very pleased with the standard of karate that was demonstrated in the classes.

Well done to everyone and congratulations to Charlie Priolo, Jordan Fraser and Steve Weldon who received there new black belts and certificates from Shihan which they obtained from his last visit WELL DONE TO ALL

Looking forward to Shihan's next visit which will be in March 2010 which will be followed by the Nationals in which we are hosting in Perth on the 22nd - 27th March 2010.
