Sensei Pasco with training of the Geraldton Karate Academy students.

Herk Bianezos 2nd Dan
Herk has been training since 1976 and started just two weeks before Sensei
Pasco at PCYC in the Budokan style. Herk achieved his Shodan in Shotokan (KUA) and
regraded Shodan and Neidan under JKA in 2000. Apart from being the clubs longest
standing member, he has been a State and National representative many times, long supported
the club financially with sponsorship, been a role model to all students, not only his passion for
karate but with his exemplary spirit that embodies the karate philosophy and etiquette.
Honoured for his tireless contribution to the GKA he was awarded "Most Outstanding Member" 2007.
Jason Merritt 2nd Dan Jason is also one of the original students from Sensei Pasco's days at PCYC. He commenced training in the Budokan style in 1978 at age 7, achieved his Shodan in 1986 in Shotokan (KUA). After a break, he recommenced training in 1997 and regraded Shodan under JKA in 2000. Jason obtained his 2nd Dan in 2006 and has competed in State and National titles. Alicia Costantino 2nd Dan
Alicia is Sensei Pasco's eldest daughter. Having grown up with a father who
was a karate instructor, Alicia took to the sport at age 5, she received her
Shodan in 2000 and her 2nd Dan in September 2008, she has successfully
completed in State and National Titles and was selected for the Australian team
for World Shoto Cup in 2006.
Enrico Masielo Shodan Rick commenced training in 1999, and received his Shodan in 2005. Rick was initially attracted to karate not only for the physical benefits but also the importance of the karate philosophy of curtesy, humility, respect and compassion. Rick supports and participates in all aspects of karate, loves teaching the younger students, and is a role model for all students with his passion and spirit that embodies karate philosophy and etiquette. |
